Advertisements !!
we all love to hate them , dont we ?! god knows i dont want to watch another "cricketer" smilin at me and tellin me to "go get it" ... (i really want to tell him "to go stuff it" actually...) now i get it... dats why he gets out so quickly... he must be in a hurry to go get it na !!
enough of the bashin...
advertisements are really stupid expenditures which ultimately we bare !! it is a known fact dat the real cost of the soft drinks we drink is only 10% of the market cost. the rest is due to advertisements by celebrities like the one mentioned above who really stink at wat they shud be doing !!(notice how i very calmly passed a half baked piece of info dat i had as fact !!) it is not their fault actually... its the "Marketing Executives " who are STUPID enough to think dat we consumers fall for such things !! c'mon.. seriously.... do they think dat we think about how Sachin drinks his pepsi before a match (and comes back into the pavillion very quickly , so dat he can drink another, i think) or how Amir Khan drinks his coke "sir uthaake !!" ?? we DONT !! we just grab watever we see and more importently watever is BETTER !! even more STUPID is the new Airtel add about the young boy who makes his dad listen to drops of rain fallin near his home when dad is away !!! really.. voice clarity !?? is dat wat they are tryin to sell ??! all mobile users worth their salt wud agree , the "voice clarity" of the airtel network is as true as Bush's claim to World Peace ...
moral of the story... Marketing Executives are Induhviduals who are pushin consumers towards stupidity so dat they end up selecting their products bcos god knows nobody in their right frame of mind will buy the crap....
